MEET RONNIE AS AN ARTIST

With a deep reverence for color, movement, and the emotional language of art, Ronnie sees painting as more than a creative act—it is a profound expression of beauty, a dialogue between the soul and the canvas. Every brushstroke carries intention, every color choice speaks a feeling, and every composition holds a story waiting to be felt.    Inspired by her good friends, international artists Habiba and Carl Owens, Ronnie discovered the transformative power of painting and embarked on her own artistic journey. Her first exhibit was a resounding success, with nine of her twelve paintings sold, solidifying her path as an artist whose work deeply resonates with viewers.     Working primarily in acrylics and watercolors, she embraces the fluidity of emotion, allowing bold, emotive colors to capture the essence of a moment. Her work is an exploration of energy and spirit, whether through the captivating allure of florals, the raw intensity of faces, or the enigmatic charm of abstract forms. The interplay of light, texture, and depth brings each piece to life, creating an experience that invites connection and reflection. Beyond traditional canvases, Ronnie has also painted wearable art, which led to a contract with a major department store in Atlanta and placement in various specialty boutiques. Her art finds expression in note cards, conscious canvases, prayer cards, and more—transforming everyday objects into vessels of inspiration. She believes that art is not confined to walls; it moves with us, shaping spaces and touching hearts in unexpected ways.     Her work has been featured in galleries in Savannah, GA, Detroit, and Atlanta, as well as private shows and local libraries, where viewers connect with the energy and emotion behind each piece. Whether through paintings on canvas or wearable art, her greatest joy is sharing a vision of the world that is alive with color, possibility, and purpose—where beauty is not just seen but deeply felt.
